Pastor's Corner – August 13th, 2024
Walt Disney was a man with an amazing imagination. He was also a failure.
He went bankrupt at least twice before he was able to make his first film and well before he built his first amusement park. Walt Disney was ultimately successful because he never gave up and because he trusted his imagination. When he gathered his team to plan any undertaking, he called the process “Imagineering”. His imagination produced an entertainment empire.
Jesus promised us that we would do things “greater than we could think or imagine.” Perhaps it’s time for us to start thinking bigger and imagining with more intensity.
I’d like to hear from you in response to what I’m about to share with you.
If you had no financial constraints and unlimited time what personal goals would you pursue? What ministries would you undertake?
I believe that God placed you in Faith Church to do great things and I believe He placed Faith Church in Midfield because He expects great ministry from us.
Below are some questions just to get you thinking; however, don’t restrict yourself to these questions alone. Use your imagination!
Describe Faith Church five years from now
How could we use the vacant building on our campus?
How could we use the pond on our campus in ministry?
How can we improve the appearance of our sanctuary?
If there no restrictions, how would you use our gym?
What ministries are we lacking in Faith Church?
Where would you go on a mission trip?
What would it take to move you to pursue your education in a Bible College or Seminary?
Consider these questions and let me hear back from you.
And remember to think big and use your imagination.
Blessings,
Pastor
